Michelle Frutkin Lester, MA, LCPC, LMHC

Michelle has years of experience working with adults of all ages struggling with trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, co-dependency, relationships, and life transition issues including young adulthood, marriage, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, separation, divorce, and grief.

Michelle utilizes a myriad of techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her theoretical orientation is person-centered, humanistic, and existential.

As a former family law paralegal and mediator, Michelle brings a unique understanding of relationship and marital conflict to couples sessions. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and that providing a safe space for processing and healing is essential.

Elizabeth Gallo, MA, LPC

Elizabeth joined the Progress Not Perfection Collective after completing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University. Elizabeth’s approach to mental health is holistic, existential, and humanistic. Elizabeth is honored to join clients on their way to feeling better through narrative, mindful, somatic, trauma-informed approaches to mental health and draws from many traditions, including polyvagal theory and Internal Family Systems, in finding the right approach for each client.

Elizabeth is also a long-time teacher of mindful movement and meditation and has been a registered as an Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) through Yoga Alliance for over a decade and is also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider.
